Archery has been a part of our family, both mine and my wife's for generations and I don't plan on it ending with us. A few years back I inherited a beautiful Bear Super Kodiak bow after Megan's dad passed away. The good news is I have a few buddies that are BIG into traditional archery and introduced me to this ancient form of shooting a few years back at the Baltimore Bowmen Traditional Classic, which is Maryland's largest annual traditional archery meet. I fell in love with it immediately and decided to become a member of the Baltimore Bowmen and have been honing my skills ever since. My son Gabe also took to it right away and has become quite the archer at his young age and gives me some serious competition every time we string up our bows. I decided to film one of our Monthly 3D Fun Shoots at the club to everyone what it's all about. My only worry was that I would get beaten by a 9 year old on camera... who won?!? You will have to watch to find out!

"My wife Lindsey and I had a fantastic time at the Baltimore Bowmen Traditional Classic. The Classic is usually held in mid-May. The courses are challenging; both distance and steep terrain contribute to a very technical shoot. Enjoy!"

Check out this video from one of our 3D shoots. Both traditional archers and compound shooters can hone their skills at the Bowmen!
